When you look at the top right of the main menu you will see that there are several different currencies in the reward system of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game. Check out our Currency Guide to find out what they are and how you get them.

Reward Points

Reward Points look like a key and are earned from completing Contracts and winning matches and can be used to unlock story nodes in the Reward Book. You earn several points daily - 2 after 6th won round, next 2 after next 12 won round (you can also earn next 1 point for next 24 won round but this means several hours of play). Next there is 1 point for each level, and points from contracts. So there are days when you earn 2-3 points, when you play only several games, but there are also days when you can earn 10, 15 or more points.

Ore

Ore looks like a gray rock and is the main in-game currency of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game. Ore is used for buying Kegs (card packs) or Mirror Shards (Arena passes). It can be acquired from playing the game and winning matches, completing Daily Quests, completing Arena runs, and through unlocks in the Reward Book.

Scraps

Scraps looks like colourful paper scraps in the shape of a card. It is the currency used to craft new cards and it is acquired by completing the daily quests, leveling up, milling cards (destroying cards you own), rewards from the Reward Book and as a random reward after each multiplayer game if your opponent gives you a 'Good Game' (GG). It is accrued more slowly than Ore.

Scrap cost for crafting new cards:

• 1 Common Card = 30 Scraps (Normal) or 200 Scraps (Premium)

• 1 Rare Card = 80 Scraps (Normal) or 400 Scraps (Premium)

• 1 Epic Card = 200 Scraps (Normal) or 800 Scraps (Premium)

• 1 Legendary Card = 800 Scraps (Normal) or 1600 Scraps (Premium)

Meteorite Powder

Meteorite Powder looks like green powder and it is used to transmute Normal cards into their Premium version. It is also the main currency for purchasing cosmetic bundles in the shop. It is mostly gained as a rare reward from multiplayer games, shop purchase, milling Premium cards, and the Reward Book.

Transmute cost

• Legendary - 400/120

• Epic - 300/80

• Rare - 200/50

• Common - 100/20

Shupe's Shop

You can also spend real money to receive Kegs and Meteorite Powder at Shupe's in-game shop. Each Keg gives you 5 cards, with at least 1 guaranteed to be Rare or higher.
