Dawnguard Faction -- Kindred Judgement

After the conversations conclude following the wrapping up of the previous quest Serana tells you that you should return to Isran and report in -- which you should do!  Following your report Isran makes a rousing speech and then the crew heads for Harkon's Castle -- note that if you follow them (stay with them) there will be a LOT of random vampire battles and attacks so you are better off fast traveling to the Castle as they will collect there when you arrive...

Harkon is waiting inside Castle Volkihar with his crew and, when you arrive and the battle begins you face a wave of vampires spewing from the Castle and, once you eliminate them, another group inside that you have to battle through.  Once they are managed you will find yourself entering the Castle Cathedral for the final confrontation with Harkon!

Basically he will fight you until he is low on health and then retreat to the Blood Fountain where he will cast a protective shield while he heals -- you cannot hurt him while the shield is up but the good news is that all you need to do is fire a Sunhallowed arrow using Auriel's Bow at the shield and it will implode, halting Harkon's efforts to heal himself.  Immediately resume the fight with him, dishing out as much damage as you can, then rinse and repeat until he is dead.

A Final Showdown with The Vampire Lord Harkon

After he dies Serana has a few choice words to say about her father and her expectations for the future, then she asks you if she can accompany you on your future adventures -- you say yes of course!  Hey, a Werewolf with a Vampire sidekick?  Stranger things have happened, seriously...  I mean Buffy was a Vampire Slayer and her BF was a Vampire!  I am just saying...

This wraps up the Dawnguard expansion so well done mates!  Good on ya!  Of course you can still do the Dawnguard side-quests at the HQ if you have not done some of them, and you still benefit from the various elements of the expansion -- like crafting Crossbows and their ammo...  Bear in mind that there will be at least three more (and possibly more than three more) expansions to follow this one, so keeping your character in top shape is a good idea!

That wraps things up for the walkthrough/guide part, save for the usual bits at the end, so again, well done mates!  Well done indeed!
