I can't beat human torch to unlock Intense races!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP ME!?

Here's my strategy:
First, keep racing him over and over and memorize the course.
Then, when you memorize the race path, find a way to go faster all-throughout the race.

Last, race him and use all that to defeat him.

Tips: Use the Web Zip to get to places that are far off (when you can't Web Swing to them), use Web Swing whenever you feel you should (and note, use B to boost, and use Y to climb the web, that will help you greatly), also, you can go faster by letting go of the web during the Web Swing when your at the bottom of the arch in the Web Swing and, as soon as you start going up, let go of it and Web Swing again later on. If you go to the top of the arch, and THEN let go, you will go higher, but you won't go as fast as usual.

Its beatable, it's just really hard. Best advice I can give is to know memorize the course and figure out the shortest paths. Boost before the bottom of the swing and release when you just start to go back up. Web zip when you can't swing. Also repeatedly webzip and jump to get up tall buildings.
