I'm so stummped?

Ok if anyone can help, please do.

<BR>I need to know where to get the eye of truth. I'm close to half way done with the shadow temple. Please help.

It's the magnifying glass thing you use to see things that aren't there in the shadow temple. It's in there, keep looking. If you've got the map and the compass for that dungeon, just use it to see where all the treasure chests are, find them all and one of them is bound to be the eye of truth.

That far in the Temple without the Eye?! Good for you. To get the Eye of Truth, which you will need just to SEE the boss, learn the Song of Storms from the guy in the windmill, then go back in time and play the song again in the windmill. This will drain the well, allowing you to enter it. In it is a mini-dungeon where you pick up the Eye of Truth at the end.

Well to get the eye of truth you must go back to be a child and go in the well to get the eye of truth.

The Eye of Truth is in the bottom of the well in Kakariko. You can enter the bottom of the well once that shadowy cloud thing has come out. Follow the path in the well and you should reach the well's boss. It's this ugly, whitish, hunchbacked thing that attacks with several hands that come up from the floor. Avoid the hands and strike the creature a few times. Eventually it will die and leave a treasure chest behind. The Lens of Truth is inside.

Oh and by the way, you can use the Lens of Truth to cheat at the treasure chest game in Hyrule Castle Town.

If you go to the windmill as an adult you get the song of storms then warp to the temple of time return as a child play the song in the windmill the well will drain giving you access to the minor dungeon bottom of the well when you go through you will find the eye or truth which helps you through the shadow temple and as a tip you need arrows, potions, and one or two fairies for the boss Bongo Bongo who if you have the eye of truth will be easy-peasy to beat because you can see him and can shoot his one eye to stun him which gives you time to do some damage by slashing at his eye after you shoot both hands to make him come low and try to hit you but if you time it right he will be right in front of you which means that the battle will end faster
