Question for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time / Master Quest

Ok, i've got quite the problem here. So, I'm in the Ice Cavern getting the Iron Boots, I already know how it's supposed to go. Problem is the door you melt with Blue Fire to battle the wolves to get the iron boots isn't red ice. And it's not melting or breaking no matter what I do. I've tried everything. I already went ahead and melted King Zora so he gave me the Zora Tunic but it's useless without the Iron Boots. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I dunno, you got me - it should be Red Ice and the Blue Fire should melt it - try going back there and using it again, hope it works!

I got one. Start over. The game will do something like this every once in a while. Like how mine stopped saving all together. And I start a new game then it started saving again.

If your not playing the Master Quest then that should just be an ordinary door, just open it like any other.
