With Dark World portals. To open them, you can use a Moon Pearl in certain places. In some instances, you'll simply be sucked in (the final boss might zap you with lightning and you're sent automatically to the Dark World, for instance).

To get into the dark world, find a blue orb and a place where it is shiny. Put the orb in it and a portal will appear.

To get in the dark world you have to find a blue pearl and use it on a a thing that makes you're controller viabrate. No problem if you need help ill help you.

All you have to do is find a chest and use the blue pearl on that one spot. If you can't find try asking me again for help. Ill be helping anyone anytime.
