Question for The Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition
This question was asked before, but the answerer didn't read the question properly! Please pay attention. I KNOW how to get the masks, but I'm having a specific problem. I have the SPOOKY mask, and I'm at the kid in the graveyard. He's SUPPOSED to prompt me to sell him the mask. BUT......instead, he JUST SAYS THAT I LOOK LIKE DAMPE' in the mask, and THAT's it! Again, he REFUSES to ask to buy the mask, so naturally, I'm stuck here and can't go on to b]get the bunny hood and finally, the mask of truth. Anyone know what caused this glitch and how to correct it?

You should really specify what game you are talking about. LoZ Collectors Edition has four different LoZ games on it.
The only one of the four games that has those masks is Ocarina of Time. Majora's Mask doesn't have the Spooky Mask, Legend of Zelda and Adventure of Link do not have masks.
So you have sold the Keaton Mask to the soldier, and the Skull Mask to the Skull Kid. While wearing the Spooky Mask the kid in the graveyard should exclaim, Gyaah! It's Dampé the gravekeeper! ??? Oh, it's just a mask. I get a different kind of fright from that mask than I get from Dampé... Will you give that mask to me?"
My thoughts are that you are confusing masks (trying to sell the child the Skull Mask), you have cheated or hacked and the game isn't recognizing something, or the game is damaged.
