Question for Super Smash Bros. Melee

HELP!!! Ok so I turned on my Gamecube so I could play the game, and then my mom wanted to play a different game so we did (NOTE: she did not touch anything until the game was up). After when we played what she wanted to play I turned my game back on.

MY DATA WAS GONE!!!!

What do I do? I mean I have some backup data on my other memory card but I want to know why it deleted itself and if I can get it back!!!!

This happened to my friend once, just don't play the game for a while and eventually it'll come back. (That's what his did.) If not copy your backup data.

simpsonsfreak answered:

Did it only SAY that your data was gone? That happened to me once. All I did was turn off my Gamecube and turn it back on and everything was fine.
