Short answer: 5 KO's in cruel melee
It shouldn't be too hard, but if you're having trouble, using roy's up b is a fairly easy way of racking up the required KO's. If you want higher amounts of KO's, there's a strategy with Pikachu: run to one side, jump and up B over the frames to the other side, lure them to the platform, drop down, roll towards the edge and down smash (it's simpler than it sounds, really). This strategy has been used to get thousands of kills.
