Question for Super Smash Bros. Melee

I can not beat event 49 & 50 how do I beat it how do you do it?

I can not do sandbag contest & hit over 1315 how do you do it?

For the Sandbag Contest...

I got over 1,500 feet with Yoshi...

If you jump and hit down A - then Yoshi does this crazy kicking thing that if done right - over and over again - will hit the top of the Sandbag and barely ever move it!

It'll take a while (several tries) to get it done right...

The best character for the home-run contest is Yoshi, first get in front of sandbag then you jump and press DOWN and A. Keep doing this and in the last 2 or 3 seconds get the bat and swing. When you get more than 1500 ft you are awarded the Paper Mario trophy!

Yoshi is the only way to get over 1500 and the Paper Mario trophy, but bycycle kicking can be hard. I suggest you use Roy for the easier way. Here's how:

1) Bats are weak, don't grab the bat, as it's not as good as full strength.

2) Do Roy's [Up A] upwards "tonyhawk"(when he does this attack, he yells "tonyhawk!") smash attack on the bag.

3) Charge up and do another "tonyhawk" right before the bag lands.

4) Keep on "tonyhawk" attacking (charging) to juggle the bag.

4) After four (possibly five) "tonyhawks" (about 100+ damage), press and hold [B]. Roy will use Fire Blade when he's totally powered up and smack the bad over 1000 feet! It's just a matter of angling your hits to get the bag over 1312.
