In action replay codes for ssbm you always say like v 1.2 what does that mean is it a type of game or a type of action replay? And how do I know what mine is

V 1.2 is the newest version of SSBM. To tell what version you have, check around the edges of the disk. If somewhere along you see the code DOL-001 or something like that, it's v 1.1. It doesn't affect any gameplay but it does affect the codes a bit. The only thing that affects gameplay is v 1.0, as there are slight differences in it such as the Motion Censor Bomb and the two "TOP SECRET" Trophies.
It's the version of the game. To know what code to use for your game, you must first look at the inside ring of your game disc, on the back. There should be some text there that reads, "DOL-GALE-0-xx," where xx is one of the following numbers:
00: Version 1.0
01: Version 1.1
02: Version 1.2
Depending on the version you have will change the code you need to use. I hope this helps.
Well, my super smash bros. melee says "Gol-Gale-0.02", so wats wrong with mine?
