can you unlock mew as a player?

My friend told me he unlocked Mew as a charactar is this possible?

No, you cannot have Mew as a character. You CAN however have Mewtwo. The only way Mew is in the game is when you throw a pokeball and he comes out. Also I think there is a Mew trophy. But you cannot have Mew as a character.

No, you cannot unlock Mew as a charictor, however I think you can unlock him in brawl (Wii). Mewtwo is the one you can unlock, hope I helped~please rate, mastergamist99pichu

Why do people keep asking this?this game has been out for 7 years so everyone should know that there are only 25 charachters.there is no Mew,sonic,tails or celebi and there is nothing anybody can do about it.

No, but it is possible as a Trophy, and a very rare chance of Mew coming out of a Pokeball.

Unlocking a Mew Trophy is kinda hard, since you either have to beat Hard or Very Hard of All-Star Mode. Good luck with that.

my friend said he once had a friend with melee, and that person let him play as mew. He also said that he himself found out how to get it, but it sounds very nearly impossible. it can probably be done if you get good enough though. dark knight dragon, why not ask your friend to prove to you that he has it?

Mew is not a playable character, BUT!!! Mew has a trophy which is unlockable via coin launcher or Subspace Emissionary but is hard to find. Same with Celebi, but the two(along with Jirachi) appear 1 to 493 chance, which is the number of Pokemon that came out when SSBB was released

no mew is not a playable character actially mewtwo is but some pok'E mon characters are some are tophies some come out in the pok'E balls

Well no you can't get Mew on melee but there are some cheats you can us to get Mew or anyone else you need also on brawl I heard this like millions of times that when Mew appears(on Brawl) if you hit the bubble on Mew 5 times it will pop and after you finish what you were doing you battle Mew(thats only a rumor I'm going to do it when I get brawl tomorrow

Dude I thought you could cause there's an old cheat code book that I have that say's" Mew: beat all star mode on hard or higher." it's wierd.

I don't think you can, rumors are said but if this works then it works but I think your thinking about mewtwo as Mew even know they kinda look the same
