can you unlock mew as a player?
My friend told me he unlocked Mew as a charactar is this possible?

No, but you can unlock his and celebis' trophy by using a pokeball in training mode. !!!HOPE I HELPED!!!

No, you cannot have Mew as a character. You CAN however have Mewtwo. The only way Mew is in the game is when you throw a pokeball and he comes out. Also I think there is a Mew trophy. But you cannot have Mew as a character.

No, you cannot unlock Mew as a charictor, however I think you can unlock him in brawl (Wii). Mewtwo is the one you can unlock, hope I helped~please rate, mastergamist99pichu

I tried getting mew on wii brawl but i tried every code in the book and when i tried the last one it activated a virus and deleted all my saved data.razor101 answered:
Why do people keep asking this?this game has been out for 7 years so everyone should know that there are only 25 charachters.there is no Mew,sonic,tails or celebi and there is nothing anybody can do about it.

Yes u can unlocked mew as a player because my friend fought with it but unfortunaly lost against it. You need to beat Classic Mode in Normal with Ganandorf or other character (better start with Ganandorf), only using three lives (without losing anyone or it wont work). Good Luck people.I was there for the people who still do't believe.

Dear Guest #2, I have beat classic mode with Ganandorf exactly 50 times and I haven't battled mew oncepowahawk answered:
No, but it is possible as a Trophy, and a very rare chance of Mew coming out of a Pokeball.
Unlocking a Mew Trophy is kinda hard, since you either have to beat Hard or Very Hard of All-Star Mode. Good luck with that.

my friend said he once had a friend with melee, and that person let him play as mew. He also said that he himself found out how to get it, but it sounds very nearly impossible. it can probably be done if you get good enough though. dark knight dragon, why not ask your friend to prove to you that he has it?

Mew is not a playable character, BUT!!! Mew has a trophy which is unlockable via coin launcher or Subspace Emissionary but is hard to find. Same with Celebi, but the two(along with Jirachi) appear 1 to 493 chance, which is the number of Pokemon that came out when SSBB was released

no mew is not a playable character actially mewtwo is but some pok'E mon characters are some are tophies some come out in the pok'E balls
same as celebi they only come out in the pok'E ball or trophies

Well no you can't get Mew on melee but there are some cheats you can us to get Mew or anyone else you need also on brawl I heard this like millions of times that when Mew appears(on Brawl) if you hit the bubble on Mew 5 times it will pop and after you finish what you were doing you battle Mew(thats only a rumor I'm going to do it when I get brawl tomorrow

You can't unlock Mew in melee or brawl.but you can get the trophies and he rarely comes out of a pokeball

Im not even kidding, as a kid I played this at a freinds house, he had Mew as a character, I can see the image in my mind of that FREAKIN DAY!!!!!! I don't know how to get him, and the freind I played with doesnt remember

I've unlocked mew in super smash bro's melee it's difficult to do but it can't be done all you have to do is beat classic mode with jiggly puff 50 times on super hard mode with only one stock of life beat the game in under 30 seconds Move to Mexico change your name to jackass and kiss your ass goodbye and you will unlock mewIf you are still looking for help with this game we have more questions and answers for you to check.
