I think but right after he tells you to get them an unlimited army of four at a time dinosaur guys come after you, then it shows the mamoth's head and a bar below the screen.

Use your staff too smash against the tree, then let tricky do the find thing, he will bring those weeds to the mammoth.
When that happens all you have to do is go down the hill to this large tree (make sure you have Tricky's find command handy) and the guys will follow you. Now instead of fighting them, make sure the tree is in front of you so you hit this instead, got it? Then tell tricky to find, he will take the tumble weeds up to the elephant guy (Garunda Tai or something like that). Keep doing this until he break out of the ice, he will tell you what to do from there. Good Luck!
