Date of Question: Apr 2 2008 | Question ID: 114572 How do I get the last dark shard in coastal remains in the area where the turtle are? I know I can't get the light gem until later in the game, but th shard I need to continue to the mermaid. HELP I've tried to reach it by jumping and gliding from EVERY possible angle and just can't seem to get it. |

You have to go to the area where it split ways to go. Instead of taking the right way to the turtles, take the way next to it which is left. There is a cracked wall that you cannot reach. To make it easier to get there, just jump onto the next tall platform, not the ones going up and down. Then just glide to the whirlwind and wait till you get to the highest part of it. Then glide to the cannon. You can now blow up that wall and get to the dark gem on the other side.
