Unfortunatley you can only get the lunar chao from dreamcast. I'm not sure about action replay however.

Sorry, you can only get a moon chao on dreamcast. don't know how though.

You pepole need to look up stuff before you answer all you need is sa2b gameboy gamecube link cable and a gameboy advance(or sp)you play minigames to get rings then click l and open up shop buy egg send it to sa2b and done.

Actually if you have the tiny chao garden from sonic advance. I heard some kind of rumor that says you can get it, if you purchase one of every one of the rare eggs, and have them in tiny chao garden at least once, but I heard it's a like .001 chance of you seeing it. *suggestion if you are going to try this. And you happen to buy all the eggs and such, just keep opening the store going into a mini game, then re-opening it. You can also get the sun chao if you have bought the moon chao. HOPE THIS HELPS~ tell me if it works :D

This is only in the Dreamcast version.

You can get it. It is very HARD. But first off, let me tell you something (you, who's readding this; not only the guy who asked), I've read A LOT of information about Chao (BTW, you can get Tails Chao but not Knuckles nor Amy Chao).

You'll need:

1. A GameCube (I tell you this in case you have the XBOX/PS3 version).
2. A Game Boy Advance (shit!).
3. Sonic Advance 1 or 2 for the Tiny Chao Garden (DAMN!).
4. A NGB-GBA cable connector (GOD!).

That's physical requirements, these are the others:

5. Buy every Chao Egg of the Tiny Chao Garden (of course, because of TCG is only and only a house for one Chao, ya don't need to have 'em all in a row).
6. Hatch them, and, in case you've hatched one or more or whatever Chao in the SA2:B, then you'll need to bring it back (once hatched, I repeat) to the Tiny C. Garden.

Then, you, my friend, will unlock two eggs: Moon and Sun (same cost as Onyx).
