I have a dark chao that I want to make a Shadow chao, how can I do that?

ANSWERS

It's easy, but it takes a while!

This works best with a NORMAL chao egg! (The ones with blue/yellow spots) The Shadow Chao will be black with red stripes on its quills when its FULLY mature if it was hatched from a normal egg.

Get a chao, and pet it/feed it etc. with only the Dark characters (it does not HAVE to be only with Shadow if you dont want, but it has to be with dark characters.) Feed the chao ONLY green chaos drives and animals! It should evolve its FIRST time when its Run is at level 9-20 or so and its stamina is at level 10-15. You can tell that it will evolve into a shadow chao if it has small stubs of quills on its head and small stubs of ears.

Then, if you used the normal egg, it will be black with GREEN or YELLOW stripes on its quills (which will be bent like Shadow's) and inside its "ears". It will usually be green stripes, but mine's stripes were yellow.

If you used a colored egg, this will be the most it can look like Shadow, and it will have quills (bent like Shadow's) and Shadow's ears on its head. It won't be black and won't have stripes, though.

Now, it's a Dark/Running chao. You want it to be a Dark/Running/Running chao. This will take a while. You keep feeding it green chaos drives and animals until it has reached:
What level its run was when it FIRST evolved times 3, is how many levels you have to grow it for it to evolve. It wont go into a coccoon. It will just look different seemingly out of the blue.
That means that if it evolved when its run was at level 20, you'd have to grow it 60 levels, so its run would have to be at level 80 for it to evolve the second time.

Also, you can feed it Chao fruits to raise its run, but you have to give it a lot of run drives etc. as well. I find giving them chao fruits loads easier. And it raises all their stats so they won't be weak in one area.

After it's a Dark/Running/Running chao, its stripes on its quills should turn red. Then it's a Shadow chao!
