My chao has a wool hat and I want to take it off of him how do I do that?

Sorry to say but the only way possible is to throw up or jump on top of him to get it off, but don't worry you can always pet it and make it better if you don't want the chao to hate you.

You have to pick up your Chao and throw it at a wall! If you have or are trying to raise a Hero Chao - use a Dark Character (Shadow, Eggman or Rouge); if you have or are trying to raise a Dark Chao - use a Hero Character (Sonic, Tails or Knuckles).

To get the hat off you could throw it or junmp on it, but you can also hit it with a punch or kick or somesault by scrolling through the actions window with the y button. If you are right next to your chao, you might have to press it once or twice, but it should be the first one after pet and pick up. I am not sure if it works with tails or eggman, but I know it works with everyone else.

i have tried over and over to get an egg i acidentaly gave mine off but it wont work.

Same here. I just got a chaos chao. And his hat wont come off! <=O I wana see his awsome face!
And I threw him at walls more than 10 times!

You can't take the hat off if you gave it to him right before it reincarnated. it will be born with that hat its like thats his face not the chaos chao face which I know is awesome but you cant get the hat off. Thats sucks if that happened to you. Sorry

You either have to throw the chao at a wall with Sonic, or jump on it. Or hammer the chao with Amy.Sorry if it didn't help, but it's the only way to get it off. Hope I helped!

Sadly, I put a wool hat on my chao sprite, he evolved into a chaos chao, I threw him at a wall 7 times and it never worked D:

I had a hat on when my chao evolved to a chaos chao. It turned out there were too many headwear items in my graden and I had to get rid of one to put oanother on the floor.

Some times if you transport your choa to another memory card it works

It will not work if it turned 1 year old and it had it on D: sorry but it sucks for our chao's
