Question for Sonic Adventure 2 Battle

My friend has that game and leted make a file on his meomory card and after I beat the first level with tails I got a cat(ore two)any way when I went to chio world I gave a chio the cat and then it started to turn into a tiger do you know whats happaning

If you give a chao an animal, parts of it's body will look like the animal you gave it and if you giving the chao more of that animal then it would start to look like the animal. But if you give it different animals then it will have a combination of them all.

(it was a jaguar)your chao is gaining experince though animals you can get stroger animals by getting all chao boxes in level(3)
