Question for Sonic Adventure 2 Battle

I have been working on getting a tails chao and I think I messed up. So is this how I get one?

Be tails hatch an egg and give it loads of purple chao drives.

Coz my chao is turning into an white and blue one. I have only petted it 3 times but I petted him by mistake. Is it supposed to turn blue and white?

Please, can anybody help me???

I am not sure about the tails chao but I heard that it's best with a orange, shiny orange, shiny brown, and brown work best.

ps: no it not supposed to turn bule and white I am not sure .

No tails chao are very hard to get because they take a lot of raising, love and time but anyway here is the harder way

1. Raise a chao only with tails and raise it only with purple chaos drives till his fly is maxed out(d'ont let him have any fruits).

2. Feed him fruits but make sure his ball stays yellow (jump on him if you have to). He should turn Neutral/flying type. Continue raisng his stanima and only stanima till it's maxed out then raise him with everything else if you raised him right he goes into a pink cocoon and out pops a tails chao!
