I'm trying to play the last level but all it say's is "I'm Sonic! Sonic the Hedgehog! We were able to stop the power of the Chaos Emeralds but the space colony is still falling.<BR>That prototype has become one with the space colony and is heading it on a collision course with earth.<BR>The space colony will be entering earth's atmosphere soon. We have to destroy it now!<BR>The ultimate power is fueled by everyone's wish. Let me show you Super Sonic power!" then it takes me to the start screen.

Odd, but i dont think theres a way around that. You might want to return the game or get a new one

That piece of dialouge is from when you continue a story and the character you play as for the next level (eg next level is dry lagoon then rouge will speak) and it is spoken after you defeat the biolizard

You play as sonic

The last story is all about stopping the chaos emeralds as they overpowered from the eclipse cannon

ARK is still falling as Professor Gerald Robotnik activated a program that causes the ark to lose orbit

The biolizard fused itself to the eclipse cannon creating the Final Hazard and is preventing the heroes from stopping the arks collision course with earth (or mobius in some cases)

The last 2 lines consist of sonic and shadow becoming super to fight the final boss of the game
