Ok, first you go to the ceiling of the room you start on, and in one of the corners you'll see 4 metal boxes. Break them and dig into the wall. You'll enter a dark room with the mystic melody shrine inside. Play M. Melody and a door will open. In the next room there will be another MM shrine. Play the tune again and a portal will appear. Jump into it and you should appear in the room where the lost chao is. Hope this helps and good luck searching for the chao!
