Question for Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness

I have beat mt. Battle for the first time last night and I did not pick chikorita totodil or cyndyqil why not?????

I'm really confused because the stratagy book I have said I would get to pick 1 of the 3 but it seemed like it was just another batlle because it did not let me choose.

You were supposed to not change your arsenal of Pokemon and you will probably have to start all over again.

Start from the first zone,do it again,DON'T SWITCH YOUR PARTY around. If that dosen't work,that might be a glitch.
