Question for Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness

How do you get to Porfessor Krane?? I am at the Cipher Lab and I am really really really lost

What ya gotta do is go all the way around the lab until you get to run into a cipher with a shadow vilpix I think, but after you can go up then go in the door and distrube the meeting, you battle one sinintist (the other doesnt battle for some reson) then when the scintist runs away pick up the id card then you can get in the door thats lock

You have to go all the way through and beat a scintist with a shadow sroomish LV23+ after pick up the ID card and then go through the door that is locked.
