Well all the legendarys you can get in the game are in Greevil's possession that means you need to play through the game and battle him at the end since he is the final "boss battle". To capture Shadow Lugia I suggest using a Master ball that you get just before that. The you will go up against Greevil who has a Shadow Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno, now if you just want those you can battle them and capture them and then battle Greevil again to get the other three Shadow Pokemon you miss since his team is a team of 6 Shadow Pokemon. Lugia, Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos are the only legendarys you can get in the games, any others you would need to trade in from a GBA game using a connection.

When you go to citedark bring about 30-50 ultra balls 10-15 full heals and 10-15 revives for a sure win... I recommend not using these items until you fight greevil... If you have time then just run back the the healing machines... There are I think 2 healing machines... But idk if this works everytime or I just got lucky but I pulled out I think it was the sun guy in shadow form and I hit him articuno with shadow rave and then I decided to throw a ultra ball at it as a joke and I caught it haha I thought that was cool... U can try it too if you want... And also if you want to make it easy for you just get a bunch of moomoo milks in pyrite or hyper potions and get around 20 timer balls and just wait around 40 turns consyantly healing you're Pokemon and just use the timer balls and it's a sure catch... But only do that if you have alotta time and you're lazy... Hope this helped

Well the only way you get legenderys is to snag greevils. He has shadow Lugia (DOY) shadow zapdos shadow moltreas and shadow arcitino the rest of his team is a rhyhorn and something else.their all shadow though.hope this helped.
