you have to trade with pokemon emerald, sapphire, or ruby to get scyther to evolve, then trade back.
The only way is to trade it from XD Gale of darkness to a gba Pokemon game and then trade it with the metal coat from that gba game to another gba game and it will evolve and then trade it back to XD Gale of Darkness
