how do you get the johto starters?

I am on the 3rd stage of mt.battle and I am CLUELESS on how to get them,so someone pleas help me

Well you have to beat the guy on top while starting from the bottom and never leaving the mountain

you got to talk to girl at register do new and go through whole thing and you can ONLY USE 2 pokemon and cant switch and still have to use ONLY 2POKEMON on last guy.....so whoever you use on zone 1 you can only use those to but if you switch than you cant get them and you only get 1 johto per run

No you don't have to use only 2 Pokemon you just gotta stick with you're party for the entire thing 1 to 100

Can your pokemon evolve during mt. battle or won't you get it if they evolve?

You will get it if you evolve a pokemon
