Date of Question: Mar 29 2006 | Question ID: 52152 I saw that someone said you can keep going into the first cave at the beginning of the game and getting purple pikmin. Is something wrong because I can go back in, but the purple candypop buds arent there. If something IS wrong, what do I do to fix it?

Hmmm, I don't know what to say, the Candypop Buds should be there; all I can suggest is try going back the next day...

If you want to get more White Pikmin, I suppose you could go to the Valley of Repose and do the White Flower Garden Cave again and again and again...
Also - to find some more Purple Pikmin, you could do the Emergence Cave and/or the Hole of Beasts Cave in the Valley of Repose again and again and again...

They will stop appearing after you reach a certain part of the game nothing is wrong with your game.

That happened to me to I think there are no purple candypop buds in the first cave so it is harder to get more. Nothing is wrong.

Yeah, they will stop appearing after a certain point in the game. If you want purple and white Pikmin, you should go to Subterranian Complex (or however you spell it). It's in the Valley of Repose too, I suggest you go to the guides on Supercheats or something in order to find more information
