After you beat the game, can you still play with the same file to solve the troubles, make recipes, find badges, ect.? I really need to know because I want to finish all of the stuff I was to busy to do before. Please answer ASAP- I'm on chapter 7 and I don't want to finish if I can't come back! Thanks!

You will still be able to play and collect badges, even go through Glitz Pit again. And Chapter 7 isn't the last chapter. Chapter 8 is, with the Palace of Shadow and the Shadow Queen
