Hello. I had to restart the game because I havent played it in a year or so, and I can't find the "cricket" badge. Please help me and answer ASAP.

You don't need the cricket badge to beet him it just helps. I forget excactly where it is but equip all your badges that are named sound ffx or something like that one at a time and hammer the ground if it sounds like a cricket when it hits then you got the badge

You don't have to get it to beat Hooktail, but you can if you want. It is somewhere in the place where you hit a Red Switch. Get the Power from the thing in the Black Chest and slip through the gate with something Red in there. That is the badge, that is the Attack FX R Badge! It makes cricket sound. Make sure you equip it and it costs nothing! 0 BP (Badge Points)!

After you get cursed then can turn sideways into the jail cell.

P.S. It is a red badge and has a musical note
