1. Make sure you have REALLY GOOD stats
2. Make sure you have enough coins to pay the guy so you can skip floors
3. Stock up on items
4. Make sure your partners have good stats too
5. Make sure you have a good badge equiped
6. (SPOILER)Be prepaired for Bonetail at the end

Well, the way I did it is I decreased my max hp to 5 then I got alot of power rushes. You need to have at least 24 power rushes. Oh and try to strike first in every floor. You need alot of coins for the chet rippo (the chet rippo is the way you can decrease your max hp to 5). Keep on decreaseing your hp and upgrade your bp.

Don't skip any of the 10s floors. Definitely do NOT skip past 50, because you want the Strange Sack found there.

I used the method that marksuper65 to get through the pit but instead, I used 50 badges rather than 24.
P.s. The meathod he was talking about is called danger mario.
P.s.s. Here are some tips on how to always strike on the first turn.
Some badges that will help; multibounce+spikeshield+icepower. Since you can use multibounce to attack all enimies but not ones that has spikes on them and are fire, that`s where the icepower and spike sheild comes in.
Also, you can use thebadge quake hammer but you can only attack ground enimies but it is eisier to do.
