Under Rogueport near that "dazzle"(i think that is her name) that trades star pieces for badges there is a fortuneteller who can tell you where to go for shine sprites or if you are having trouble figuring out what to do next. I know it costs a lot but just write down what she tells you and reset to get a refund. Also somewhere in that area there is a pipe that you use the ultra boots to grab onto and on her roof is one

I went to the woman under rogueport that gives us hints. SHe gave me a list of ones I hadn't found yet. Here's a few:

1) On the west side of rogueport. On the second floor of the rightmost house. Roll up and go through the gap and find it in the back yard.

2) Poshley heights, the room beyond the pipe. In a high place near the enterance.

3) Under rogueport next to the up & down platform (to the underground store)
Spring jump. FOllow the pipe, drop onto the next roof. And then the next. Continue on, It is on the pedestal behind the woman who sells badges for star pieces.

Here are the locations of the Rogeport shine sprites.

1.Above the rooftops on the right side of rogueport, (you need Yoshi.)
2.Behind the house that has the padlock on the door on the right side of town. Get on the roof and slip between the crates.
3.Behind the first house on the left side of town. Roll into a tube and drop through the small hole inside the house.
4.in Bobbery's house on the right side of town. You can't get this one until chapter 5
5.Behind the cracked wall in next to the item shop on the left side of town. (Bobbery.)

Get Yoshi and look on the rooftops of Rogueport. You should find a Shine Sprite there.
