Question for Paper Mario 2

How on earth do you defeat iron clefts?
I have tried Flurries gale thing and earth tremor,
but it only got them on 1 leg or flipped them.

Go to the hot dog stand and buy a hot dog a yoshi egg will come out go chase it around untill it jumps up to the hotdog stand's roof, go up and get it then go battle again and you'll battle the 12th place team.

When you get back the egg will hatch battle with your new partner and use gulp do it 2 times and the iron clefts will die.
