Question for Paper Mario 2

I have a problem, I'm at the part were you have to beat Grodus and Bowser in a row.

After I beat Grodus, I don't level up, so when I start fighting Bowser I have almost no: HP, FP and Star Points.

What should I do?

Go back and fight the enemies you didn't fight until you have enough star points to level up after beating Grodus.

This will be somewhere around 78.

This is what I did.

Go out of the palace of shadow then beat Amazee Dayzee over and over or beat bonetail.

Make sure you have strange sack. It is found in floor 50 in the pit of 100 trials. Then stock up on items like ultra shrooms and jammin jellies. Then train a lot. I powered up BP a lot. It might seem hard, but I have all sorts of badges. When you get there, get Bobbery ready. I used him throughout the whole dungeon, execpt when I played the shadow sirens. I was at level 25 or 29, so it was easy.

You should deal with Grodus very fast. I used:
Mario to deal with those stupid Grodus X's (Multibounce) then
Bobbery to attack Grodus (bomb).
Then, for Bowser and Kammy, kill Kammy first, then annihilate the Koopa King. Yes this is hard, but not half as hard as The Shadow Queen after that!

I myself went back and battled enemy so I would only be a few star points away from leveling up before I'd have to battle Bowser.
