First of all hp isnt the best thing to increase
Second since you already sort of screwed up go to this guy (i forgot his name but you have to go down the tube from rougeport and destroy that block with bombery then switch hp with bp very helpful at least have 60
The things you should have is at least
HP 30
MP 50
BP 60
Once you have these stats get mario at least 2-3 power plus badge and at least one power plus p badge for your partner
Have at leaset 2-5 life shrooms
At least put this one badge called "pretty lucky" 1-3 badges of those
And a couple of "close calls" and anything to help your p9ower up when your in danger mario that way your attack will be really good
And the one badge thats really useful is "quick change"
