I am stuck in the sanctuary fortress. I'm at the part where you have to go get the screw attack. I'm in the main research chamber, and I can't destroy the sonic emitters to get into the portal like the walkthrough says.

Put on the Echo Visor, shoot the gate with your Power Beam to reveal a pattern of sounds, then shoot the orange objects with your Power Beam to repeat this sequence of sounds...
