I have tried 10 times to defeat the boost guardian, but I have know idea..

I had the same problem try getting another energy tank that really helps you out.

It is really a good thing if you have 4 or 5 energy tanks.
If have them. beat m like this.

1st- shoot it with the light beam. when it goes into an puddle form. morph to a ball and lay bombs in front of him. When it turns to a ball, and shoots trough the room.

Avoid him as much as possible and grab energy refills that will exposed when it destroyes a pillar or an mini head. If he turns normal again shoot it with the lightbeam, and so on.

Continue doing this untill he is dead.

I hope you'll find this answer good :P, at least this method worked with me.

Ok, since I'm a veteran to the origional metroid game, I'm really good and beat him really fast with only 2 extra tanks but that's just me.

Anyway, once you go through the morphball hole, try and shoot him with super missiles.

This is your golden chance to put damage on him. then, when he turns orange, turn into morphball mode.

Try to dodge his boost attack. once he boosts 3 times or smashes a pillar, he will turn into orange goo.

Roll around in morphball mode and bomb him with bombs.

He will eventually go back up to his black form. You can only hurt him in this form.

Repeat this process until he is dead.

When he turns into the gooo stuff then turns into the Morphball bomb him. Then when you are able to shoot him again use the light beam and try to get all the energy possible. just keep doing this till you beat him.

It is really easy, first fire him charge shots of light beam and qhen you run out of them super missiles when he turns into the thing that is like mud that follows you turn into morph ball and put bombs when it uses its boost ability put yourself behind one of the colums repeat this until he dies you have to be really close to the colum

The boost guardian is pretty hard but if you know what to do then it's pretty easy.

1. SCAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. Charge up the light beam and shoot away

3. He'll boost around the room. Turn into morph ball to get the birdseye view to dodge him cause that boost is painful

4. He'll turn into a puddle. Stay in the morph ball and drop bombs until he comes back to solid form.

5. Repeat
