For the Plasma Beam, after you get Power Bombs, you should get something on the map in Magmoor caverns. Go there and the Plasma Beam is there. For Grapple, Go to the place where you have to lay bombs to align Tracks to proceed. Go to the highest you can using the Red track(it shouldn't have moved since the last time you were there). Find the spot where you move the very top part(there is a gap between where you are and where you need to go)and line the blue part up with where it comes out farther. Drop a level. Line up the Blue Track using the 3D Map. Drop to the very bottom and align the Blue one more time. Now climb up the Blue Track. Be Prepared because there are Metroids up there(you don't need to be prepared because they're kinda stupid, you'll see what I mean ;)). Go through the door and the Grapple is in there. I think that's all you wanted to know.
