No you have to do either the solo, or multi player games to ulock them.

Start Party Mode with 4 CPU's, 25-50 Turns, and leave it while you're gone somewhere else or at night time. It'll give you a lot of time to relax while they do your work and possibly have a good chance of getting Battle Games. Hope this helps bro.

How do you start with four CPU's? I have to use at least one human.

There is no real way to get them faster, but theres some tips on getting them. All players have to have the same color (All blue or All red). You can turn off the mic to better your odds because sometimes it will be a mic minigame when it could of been a battle minigame, also play with 4 player mode, it better you're odds cause it eliminates the possibility of a 8player minigame
