If you have a MIC or the MIC setting is on use controller, by saying "Surprise" into the MIC (or by pressing the R button if it is set on use controller) it will do something special. You have to buy it first and look over at it on the souvenir stand to the far right. Also, you can get 6 special souvenirs by doing special things. MSS Sea Star: Play all party boards once. Chop - Chop Helicopter: Play All Deluxe Cruise mini-games at least once and play Deluxe Cruise 3 times. (You can play as two people on the same controller. At the team selection screen, put 2 humans on one team.) Free Play Sub: Play all mini-games including Deluxe Cruise mini-games, DK and Bowser 1 and Multiplayer mini-games, and Rare Mini-games (there are 2 of them that can be bought at the souvenir stand) at least once. Miracle Treasure Chest: Beat King of the River easy once. Magic Lamp: Beat King of the River normal once. Power Star Statue (credits are available when you buy this): Beat King of the River hard once. To activate the credits, go look at the Power Star Statue and say "Surprise" (or press R Button) and they will automatically activate. Whew! That was a long answer! Anyways, hope I helped!
