Hall of Fame Mode --- HB Questions

Thanks in advance to anyone who answers my questions. Some backround: OK so I'm about halfway through the first season with my HB player and I have fairly good stats and perform well in practices and game plans. I also say the right things (I think) in interviews. Here are the questions:
 
 1. How do I permanently improve my attributes, especially my speed? Are the attributes only boosted after each season?
 2. What are COD skills?
 3. How do I obtain a positive ego? Mine is currently sitting at -4 and I don't know how to improve it.
 4. How do I improve my influence level?
 
 I think that's it. PLEASE answer my questions before I die of FRUSTRATION.

to boost your speed and awareness, at practice use hb toss or hb strong toss and put the d on punt return towards the the opposite side of the run and its a 98% chance of a TD and sure shot boost of attributes. im in my rookie season and is already the best hb in the game(even better than shaun alexander)

wat i do to boost my ego is when i a TD i try to celebrate with a teammate it works 4 me if not you will become a lonewolf
