Harvest Moon: Magical Melody Questions

Hi I just registered so here goes. Even though I have not got a baby yet I would like to know how you take care of it and what you need to do. Also how long does it take to get a baby after you get married?

2 weeks after you marry you will find out your wife is going to have a baby
Then do your things for a month or two
Then you will have a kid and a note

Good grief! This question is extremely commen... Ah well. After marriage, it usually takes about 20 days before your character discovers that they (Or thier wife, if you play as a boy) are going to have a baby. After that, it takes roughly around 60 days before it's born...

As for care, there should be something about it in the guides. Just pick it up and give it milk is pretty much all I know...

Ok
So to upgrade the house on the river property,you have to go talk to woody,and ask him to move your watering hole for 500 g.move the watering hole to the very back of your property,on the river side.

Then go to the mine and dig up 3 gold pieces.
(if it's winter go to the lake mine because you can find amethyst on the first floors,
And it sells for 220 g each.)

Then go to your house and put it in the shipping box and you can go to sleep or do whatever you have to get done.

The next morning woody joe and kurt will tell you that it was hard work and it's done.

So then go back to the woodshop and tell him to upgrade your house to level 3.
If it's not availible,keep on giving him stakes from town or have at least 1 heart w/
Kurt or joe(just make sure you have at least 1 heart with woody kurt or joe)

Then your house will be upgraded.

Now about the baby,i think it looks like carl but thats just my opinion.

Anyway so I'm not sure if it's a boy or a girl,but I named it riley,its more of a boys name but I think it would be ok on a girl.

Woody will be in the hospital when you have the baby.he will give you a crib.
All you have to do is get the rattle from the junk shop,and have some milk and you are fine.pick it uo everyday then shake the rattle and give it milk and it will gain hearts.

You don't really need to do anything for you're baby just play with him (by using his rattle,buy at junk shop and when hes older his picture book) give him food if you want to and pick him up daily. After you get married it takes 60 days for the baby to be born so if you're wedding is spring 3 then you're baby will be born on fall 3.hope I helped and you're welcome!!!
