To get clay you must go to the mt. Moon cave and hoe the ground in the lower sublevels of the cave.
First go to the cave next to jamies farm and then go in and go down the stairs and for some weird reason the stairs aren't always there then use your hoe to dig and you mite get some clay
Go to the second level in the mine and use your hoe you will find a lot more on that level than any other.
