You befriend ruby I don't know what she likes but I do know once you befriend her if you talk to her while shes in her kitchen she will give you some

To get Ruby's Spice, first try giving Ruby a flower a day. When you befriend her (You can tell when she turns to look at you when she walks by), then go to the kitchen at 9:00 pm when only Ruby's there and she'll give it to you.
To duplicate it (which is why I assume you're asking), put only 1 Ruby's Spice in the first slot in any recipe. You can take 100 with you at any given time (one in your hands and 99 in your Rucksack), and they sell for 100 G each.

Ok in the summer maybe, You find happy lamps(flowers) kinda by turtle swamp, more behind the inn but close to the river. You give those to Ruby and she's happy, she also likes anything grows like watermelon or strawberies. Go inside and wait for her to go in kitchen without Tim. Maybe 7:00 ? I don't know, Hope that helped.
