Question for Harvest Moon: A wonderful life

Ok I have some questions that I need answering:

1. How do you get the salamander?

2. How do you get Tatan?

3. This one recipe asked for: two things I can't remember and a ROOT CROP. How do you grow root crops? And dont tell me vegetables are root crops because I already tried that.

4. Are the ducks good for anything?

5. what do the "Weird hoe", "Strange hoe", "Weird sickle", and "Strange sickel" do?

1. From this mukumuku thing. you can't miss him he shows up in winter near the harvest sprites house.( it will take a looooooooooooonnnnnnnnnggggggggggggg time so you'll have to have a lot of paitence!)

2. You will have to be good friends with that other guy thats lives on the farm with you. he likes the stuff you produse on the farm like eggs or grade A milk.

5. There are some other tools that you can use but some of them make you egsusted easer

You have to befriend mukamuka for the lizard he likes eggs and food. The ducks are like the chickens when they get happy they will have chicks.
