What you could do is search all of town and pick all the flowers and stuff off the floor in the morning then at twelve go to the dig site and get as much as you can if you have a fishing rrod you could also get some fish and either sell it at your own stall or wait until van comes and sell it to him then with that money buy crops or something that could make you a bit of money.

The easiest way to get money is to do the Z trick.
Plug the controller into the 3rd slot, and press Z, then plug it back into the first slot.
You'll obtain a whole bunch a rare items, as well as other you can sell. You can repeat this if you want.

You should buy a fishing pole from Van. And then you should go fishing, you should fish mostly when it's raining and by the water fall. You will get good fish then.
