I too am a girl, but that doesn't really affect if I like this game or not (which I do). In this game, you don't have the option of being male or female, you are automatically casted as the male character. This game is pretty much the same as ANWL in terms of the story line, although there are a few differences. I've had the chance to play all 3 of these games and I find them all rather enjoyable, it's just a matter of if you want to spend money on a game that is sorta the same as ANWL. Hope I helped :]

Im a girl too and I enjoy playing it so you will probably like it too exept you play as a boy (you probably know that) that big field of trees is a field of crops,and there are still three people to marry celia,nami,and muffy.celia is a very sweet girl and she has brown hair and brown eyes(i think...) she wears a green dress with an orange bandanna her kid is pretty much the same as her but a boy and ya can't have a daughter:( but you can on this game for ps2 and personally I think celia is the perfect farm wife.nami is a shy tomboy and has red hair and blue eyes her kid wears blue like her and my opinion on her is on a scale of 1 to 10 I give her a 4 but thats just my opinion.muffy has blonde hair and blue eyes and wears a red dress and her kid wears blue also.although I have a brother I like watching him play just as much as I like playng myself but I'm a harvest moon fan so you may or may not like it and it's like another wonderful life but with the differences from above

Yeah I'm a girl and I love this game! You just have to get around the fact that your a male character and the fact that you have to get married. So go and play *thumbs ups*

Yeah, it's a great game. I like AWL 'cuz of the cheats and I'm girl, But WL is still a great game. Just ignore the fact that you have to marry a girl, and think about it this way: You know what you like!

Wow lots of girls. Lol! But anyway, yeah you'd probaly enjoy it. I do! Its MUCH cheaper, but there a couple of things diffrent (I know because I rented Another Wonder Life a couple years before I bought A wonderful life.):
1. You can't take your dog into your house, or teach it tricks, which was a big disappointment to me, because I love dogs. :(
2. You can't ship produce. You have to sell it to Van, or just keep it for your family to eat later on.
3. You can't do the money cheat!!! Or the item/alarm clock cheat. Argh!
Enough of my venting. XD Just ignore me and go buy the game! (P.s. The way I think of it, when Im not around my wife, is that I am a girl with a buzz cut. Ok Im leaving Im leaving. X) )

Yeah, this is the first game I bought, I kinda like it better than the others honestly, idk why though!!
