Desperate need for fodder!

Help! It's winter and I've run out of fodder, I didn't fertilize my field much before so I have no grass growing that I can cut! I spent almost all my money on good fodder to feed my animals while I wait for the newly fertilized areas to grow, but that won't happen until spring! Help! I don't want my animals to die!

Yikes. Well if your broke and have no fodder, you can always use cheats.
Money cheat: Place your controller-plug thing in the 3rd slot of your gamecube (the 3 player slot) and press 'start' each time you press start you get 10,000 g, but the more you press start the more money you get.

Everything cheat: Place your plug un the 3rd slot again and press the Z button on your controller once. Then place it back into the 3rd slot and your backpack will be filled with lots of stuff (seeds, food, tools and 99 fodder anf fertiiler thingy) hope I helped!

Oooh. That happened to me once. It depends on how much you have growing in your field. If you have almost nothing, you're best with the cheats. But if you have fertilized grass that's just REALLLYYY slow, you can let your animals out to graze as soon as you wake up and bring them in as late as you can. I had to do that ALL WINTER once, none of my animals got sick 8D

Guest answered:

Bring your animals out pretty much all the time only put them in if it's raining or if there's a storm or something and just keep finding things like flowers and go and mine things and sell those to Van when he opens his shop on the 3rd and the 8th and plant lots of crops and milk your cow once when you wake up and once when you go to bed and you will make good money to keep buying good fodder until your fertilized grass grows. If you have any extra money you can use that for more fertilizer.

The same thing happened to me too so I just did all those things and my animals were able to survive the season.

Guest answered:

Well I had the same exact problem, I just ignored the animals through the days and when it was spring my animals were sick, but... I spent all my money on animal medicine, trust me I did that and I still have my animals
