I believe a nice is a befriended wild animal. I heard something like that on a guide.
Okay the befriended wild animals is something that needs to happen, but it has almost nothing to do with a nice.
Have you ever played HM:MFOMT? If you have, do you remember being able to throw things in the spring when the harvest goddess returned to summon her? Well, then you could link. So if you hook up to the gamecube with that, you are able to throw things in the water. The things you throw in are nices. That's partially because they have to be nice. So that's what a nice is.
