Gamecube Marrying gustafa on Harvest Moon another wonderful life

So I have Gustafas hearts up to 4 and I'm on the LAST day in Fall
I havent gotten Rock or Marlin to like me AT ALL and Gustafa still wont take my feather
I read online that theres a fourth feather event but all of them are marked in spring and fall and when I left the INN that day in spring he did not propose nami just told me she loves it when he plays his music... Does this mean that I'm too late or do I have to wait until NEXT year to get married...I really don't want to wait until next year...

Well, I got a little confused there, but if it's the last day in Fall, the first day in winter, give him a fllower 9or whatever else you gave to him to get him to like you) and then offer the blue feather. If this doesn't work, don't give up, just keep trying for the next few days. For me, it took 3 or 4 days but it may take more or less. Also regard that you will just live regularly until the 1st day of spring after he says yes. You may be too far in, but if you're not, I hope I helped!
