Horse help!!!

Im in chapter 3 and I haven't gotten my horse yet. Is something wrong?

Well you normally get your horse in chapter 1 in the begging of summer. But to get it then you have to being doing really good. Other than that you can get it at the end of chapter 2, you gotta buy it. Those are the only ways to get it. All the horse does is , when you ride it alot your kids interest for ranching slowly goes up.
